Like many homeowners, Jenny ran into a wall when she tried to renovate her own home. She wasn’t an expert, just someone trying to get the job done right. But between vague quotes, poor communication, and confusing processes, the experience felt anything but simple. Determined to understand the system, she became a licensed contractor herself—and saw just how broken things were for both homeowners and contractors. With a background in computer science and management consulting, Jenny knew this wasn’t just a one-off problem—it was an industry-wide issue.

Meanwhile, Odysseas, a seasoned tech founder, became friends with his contractor Omar during a home project of his own. Their conversations revealed how difficult it is for skilled workers to grow their businesses, even when they do great work. That connection sparked an idea: what if technology could make things better for everyone?
The name “Ergeon” comes from erg (a unit of work) and eon (a billion years), a nod to their shared belief in building lasting solutions that truly work. Today, our platform brings together powerful tools and a talented team to help homeowners get projects done with less stress—and help installers thrive doing what they do best.

"Ergeon provided a quote for a large fencing project. The entire process went really great! An Ergeon sales representative contacted me quickly and was very professional. The estimate process included a video conference call where I showed the representative the worksite and we discussed my needs. They produced an excellent computer rendering of the completed fence and shared the screen over the video call. Amazing! This process was so much easier than dealing with contractors who came in person, often cancelled or rescheduled, and then acted pushy and inattentive. Ergeon's prices were competitive, and their warranty was the best of all the companies I spoke with.
